Rear end gear ratio...

-
What you are basically saying is that I should go with the 4.88 gears, right ?

Worse gets to worse I can always have a set of 3.55/3.91 sitting in their case and if I need to do some fair amount of driving distance I can just swap them out completely and bit need to keep changing and aligning ring & pinion.
The car now is used as I said in the city on the weekends really and driven to the track (about 100 kms... Aka 60 miles...) With no problem. But I'm thinking if I wanted to drive to some shows also that are a little further than my city I can use the 3.55 and just cruise on the hwy..
I believe this is what I'm going to do and really if I don't change (back & forth) gear cases I'll just tow the darn thing... Lol
Thanks again to everyone who has given me sound advice.

You can use the 4.88's if you don't mind Turing it up a bit. Remember, you will probably need to make some suspension changes. You are changing the starting line ratio a good bit.
