So I'm removing the rear leafs on my duster to install new ones, there's a cracked leaf on each side, and I came across a front relocation box, finally something done properly and not held together with red rtv
but it was back to form on the drivers side leaf as they ran a bolt through the perch to hold it together
at any rate, they had the front leaf eye mounted in the upper hole. I suppose its best to put the new leaf in the same location but wanted to get some more knowledgeable input on as to what to do, and what's to be gained by moving the leaf down a hole. Taller tires?
Now the big question. What to do about the bolt running through the spring perch? I'm gonna take another look inside the perch to see if its been welded on as I would rather knock it out if possible and use the location pin on the spring
if I can't knock it out do I need to keep the leaf clamped together to get it over the bolt?
Thanks!
