Does anyone on here,or someone you know put a different rear suspension under an A body. Not a regular 4 link or ladder bar. I looked thru and found ABODYJOE'S thread on his 4 link and have an email into Bill @ Reilly Motorsports about his rear setup.
The reason I am asking is I have a set of Chassisworks Ladder bars and QA1 rear coil over springs. In mocking it up,I am not thrilled about having to modify the underneath by where the old shocks mount. I would have to cut some of that panel in order to keep the springs from hitting the rear end housing.
Also in the front, where the ladder bar x-member would weld to the chassis, ends up being where I have the rear part of the chassis connectors welded in. And it doesn't look like a real good place to weld that bar in. The front ladder bar bracket would be hanging way down and could lead to ground clearance problems.
Or does someone have pics of your front ladder bar mount, where it ended up being located on your chassis. I have 32" ladder bars. Thanks for your help.
