rear view mirror?

on a 68 dart is there a way to tighten up a rear view mirror so it doesn't flop all over the place. mine wont stay where I set it.

just fixed the one in my 73 duster....

I took the mirror out of the car....you will find a couple of screws holding the swivel part together...i took the half round swivel piece and put it in a vise...squeezed it..kind of deformed it...put it back together...tighter then a cat's ***....
