As I was test fitting the upper window trim I noticed a "bulge" along the runner as it goes down into the quarter area. Both sides have it but the driver side is bigger. Also the top had been replaced before I bought it but not completed as the front and back glass was still out(this was done by a shop for two owners before me).Is this normal or will I have to do surgery, final paint is on so any suggestions would be great.

I know this is a odd situation.I don't know if I need to cut it down or if it gets sealed up and its normal.

My last 69 Dart was very similar to yours. I guess the factory didn't keep close tolerances in this area. Just but it back together and drive it.

thanks for that info,it sure seems like a hugh gap like 3/8" on the drivers side.It does look like its in line with the seam seal.I tried to hit it thinking it was just sheet metal and I could bend it up alittle but it is solid,it wouldn't move any.Guess I'll have to double up on the seal.
