Power steering pump leaking Bad! Rebuild is difficult to get. Kits are no problem. Mine is the TRW pump. Suggestions? Thanks.

What's the worst. A few bucks and it still leaks!

Go for it.

My hardest part when I have taken a PS pump apart is getting the reservoir off.

If it's leaking but otherwise working it might be the big O ring and the seal round the output port

Could also have a crack in the metal reservoir

Agreed, if it's just a leaker and otherwise works ok, not a big deal. The hardest part is the pulley seal. You just need the correct puller for the pulley and a way of pressing it back on. do it with the reservoir off so you don't damage the reservoir or it's "O" ring. I use a cheap dent puller slide hammer with a screw attachment to remove the seal.

Not sure which pump but, mark the cam and rotor orientation. My 2 cents.

I believe the factory service manual covers it.
