I need to have an OEM fuel sending rebuilt. Any successes out there who found a restorer to be reputable? I reached out to John Wolf & Co. with no response.
Many thanks

take some 35g nickle-ferrite resistance wire (NiFe) and rewrap the resistance loop. you can check your resistance from a new one and then figure out your length. Also you can mic the existing wire and count the turns. Use the end of a brass nail for the new sweeper contactor if needed ....Or find a NOS sender in the correct resistance, not that easy! this guys wire was Kanthal A1 0.15mm resistance wire at 88ohms a metre for reference.

Don't allow the windings to touch each other.

Thanks for that info, but the whole unit needs overhaul.

I have used John Wolf many times and the rebuilt senders have worked well. I have not sent in any for a couple of years now but I think they still rebuild senders.

Holley has units calibrated for our cars in their new efi drop in pump modules.

Maybe they'll sell them separately?

Could you post a photo of your sending unit and include it's part number? Thanks.
