Yes they did have red liners available and they are quite rare. tmm

They were an option , and butt ugly if you ask me .
The repops were available at one time. I don't think they are available today.
I haven't seen them anyway.
Their purpose was to prevent snowpack in the wheel wells.
Their advantage was a quieter ride in the cabin.
It's been said that red color represented what one would see in a open fish gill. I don't know if that's true but it sounds about right.
