Remember the drivers we have lost

Here's to my uncle who pushed this 10 year old kid into the passenger seat of his 440 roadrunner. The mad acceleration, the roar of the engine, the sensation of the front-end unloading; epic. He was a man who understood the simple pleasures of life and cared enough to pass them on. :) -LY

P.S. the roadrunner in the caring hands of his son who treats it with the love and respect it deserves.

Let's also include the name of one of the all-time greats, Jim Clark, who helped revolutionize Indy car racing by bringing the rear-engine design with Lotus here. He was killed in 1968 during a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim.

Here's something interesting for this thread. The 5 tracks (4-wheel racing) worldwide with the greatest number of deaths:
56 at Indianapolis
48 at Nurburgring
30 at Monza
24 at Daytona
24 at LeMans

Isle of Man TT, 240 deaths since it's inception. :( My condolences to Yoshinari Matsushita's family and friends.
