Anybody have a prescribed method for removing decals from lexan windows without scratching, clouding etc? The decal comes off easy enough, but the remaining adhesive not so easy.

Try cooking oil or baby oil and a cheap hair dryer with a soft cotton cloth (ie, baby diaper). That will usually loosen the adhesive without scratches. After that, you need a good cleaner to remove the oil. JMO.

Wd40. Not sure if it will cloud the lexan might try a small area.

Denatured alcohol-soaked rag placed on the decal and allowed to sit and soak to soften the decal...WD40 to remove the adhesive residue.

i would try using the heat from the sun first. if that doesn't work a hair blower, this will not warp the lexan. if the decal is cracked from being installed awhile back do what slantsixdan mentioned

They make a product called Plexis available at motorcycle shops for bike windshields for cleaning without scratching using a microfiber cloth. Works good for final clean up.

So a little heat from a hair drier, then peeled them of and then Dans denatured alcohol dabbed on the glue repeatedly, and carfull mop up with another paper towel with more alcohol.
Thanks Guys
