Replacing Rear End: '65 Dart GT

IF it's a 73 and IF it had disk brakes, then it will be large bolt pattern (grab the front brakes too if you can). Unless it was 318 manual transmission or 340 car it will most likely still be a 7 1/4. No gain there other than the LBP. The gear ratio might be worth considering. It would be a step backward to replace 3.23's with 2.76's.

It could still be an 8 1/4 if it had a slant.
 
Thanks, Charrlie. I have the complete rear end, drum to ... well, it was missing one drum, but otherwise complete. Seems like it should be pretty straightforward.
 
As C130 Chief said. If the 73 is a front disc brake car the rear will have LBP axels. If the 73 is a front drum brake car the rear will be SBP
