2 Friends of mine DROVE a few (dozen) hours behind me hauling the aspen r/t in exchange for a rusty road runner, 904’s, 727’s, cinder blocks, lumber, shipping old mopar car seats-basically a big exchange and I made out completely blessed! After unloading everything we looked over a 62 Buick special, 70 impala, 66 beetle, & a 50 Chevy pick up for them to help themselves to on the family land today-rats, brown recluses, & thorns did not stop them.

Yes sir, nothing but tears and a few pieces of automotive junk like rattle cans of paint and stuff. I am riding back with them right now, they took grandma’s late 70’s drive back to Georgia:1971 vw type 3-this thing has a/c on an air cooled engine.

From the 2017 car craft nationals when they tried Bowling Green, Kentucky -it was a over one hundred degrees outside.

Despite many cold water bottles, shade, we got a little too hot. Doesn’t help any I am a hundred pounds over boot camp weight-am working on that now without sub food and actual time to exercise vice working long hours.

I got too hot there at the hot rod reunion last summer, stopped and talked to Don Garlits and even he saw I was exhausted from the heat. That's one bad thing about Beech Bend, it's always so friggin hot there during events.
