So.....
I get out my book to look up a couple part numbers.
Not listed.
I go to the iPad to check the wide world of websites.
No luck.
I'm looking for info on:
#2409140
and
1619058

Thanx

Are you sure it's a part # not a casting # ? They are different.
What is the description ?

2409140. 24091 seems to be in the group exhaust chapter in the partsbook.

Found the 2409 140 section 11-09-3, 1963 dual exhaust, intermediate, TA3, TC1, Police sub, TC3 SUB, left side. Go to the rear of the book, numerical listing if it's not there try a different year.

This didn't take me very long to find and this is for everyone on this site to benefit from, most guys know what year from the part # beginning numbers. Not the newbies it takes time but if you are putting a car together you need to know these things. MYMOPAR has all the parts books online that you can download and after a short while you get a feel for the #'s I always go to the numerical #'s in the back first if it starts with 343 I know it a 70 or maybe 69 or 71 not usually more than 3 or 4 years, now this isn't 100% lets take a engine wrist pin might have the same part # for 20 years because it's a common part. Life is a lot easier when you
know what you got instead of asking what is this part and getting 5 different answers.

....................
I checked my mopar.com
Got nothing
For a '74 I thought first digit should be a 3.
I also thought the gap between the two numbers meant they were for two different cars.

Thanx all

It is a 3 if it's new for these years 347,356, 362 mopar has some number system
who knows exactly what it means but that first part you were looking for 240 is a 65 or earlier part, 296 is like 68 69 70, 343 is 70 & later

74 exhaust pipe is in section 11-05 tail pipe is in section 11-09
