Hello,

I don't know how many of you are interested in car audio (most people say that the sound of a V8 is enough)
but I just bought the new Pioneer SXT-C10PS and have to say that it's the best retro-style car radio I've ever had.
The look, the sound, the build quality, everything is top notch.
Best solution for me

I am tossing it around in my head to do an update to an Am/Fm radio, I do like it, where did you buy it at please ?

I'm an original R11 Music Master 2 watt AM radio fan myself. But as far as custom radios, I also have foreign and exotic cars in my collection, and most of them never came with radios (1960's-1980's) (Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lotus, etc.)...

Some people here get their panties all bunched up if you cut the dash in YOUR car. Your's looks great in the custom dash. I have this SuperTuner from the early 90's that I'd like to put into my Duster.

Me, I love the old stereos. Looks great. I don’t know how old you are, do you remember the Blaupunkt car stereos? The ones made in Germany were the best.

I chopped the hell out of my old muscle cars back in the day getting my stereos in, luckily none of them MoPars.

I miss the old times.

Anybody remember Sony Mini Discs? I still have MD’s that first came out back in the 90s.
Yes, you can still buy them today, but they're really expensive. Even with minidiscs, you quickly reach the limits with 700 MB, and most devices for them won't be MP3-compatible. Personally, even with a “retro style” radio, I don't want to do without modern features like Bluetooth streaming or a USB port (which you don't have to see!). That way, I always have the same music in all my vehicles.

I've tried out lots of old car radios (old ones Alpine, JVC, Sony, Blaupunkt... and new ones in retro style) – but I've stuck with the new Pioneer

I was born in 1971—in the old days, Blaupunkt was good! The new ones all come from China, and the sound and build quality isn't particularly good anymore (in my opinion)—they also offer various retro designs.

I have an old school Reverb on a shelf somewhere.
Won't work with a modern radio to much power.
I sent my factory radio from the 64 Valiant out to keep the original face and upgraded internals.

Looks great! Thanks for heads up. Does that take cassettes? Sure looks like it
