RIP Ozzy Osborne

RIP Ozzy, he was a living legend. Black Sabbath’s Paranoid is a perfect album, if it’s the only record I could listen to for the rest of my life, I’d still crank it to 11.

Does anyone know what his last words were ?
Even if i did, i dont think id be able to understand them

I remember seeing him on that show he had on MTv, and he always had to have subtitles...even then it didn't always make sense

Sad news indeed. Looks like it's time to crank up some Sabbath and offer up a cocktail salute this evening. He lived life way out there for sure, but blazed a trail only he could travel. RIP sir.

RIP OZZY!!!

Sabotage was one of my favorites as well. When you get an album and don't have to lift the needle to skip songs...you know you got a good one. Hand Of Doom was an excellent cut on that Paranoid album.

Karrin and I went to see Ozzy for the last time a few years ago with Sabbath at The World Music Theater in Tinley Park Illinois. There was no opening act. All Black Sabbath. It was an excellent show. Bill Ward was ill, so they recruited Ted Nugent's drummer. Row 16 center stage.

"Loner" by Black Sabbath with Nugent's drummer. This is the subtitles version so you can enjoy where Ozzy doesn't remember the words and Hums his way through some of it...LOL. This is a band that cannot be replaced.

Thank you for all you gave us! Rest in Peace...
Thank you for posting this. You were my source for his loss until I got home from work and Karrin met me at the door. We had seen Ozzy several times with Iommi and Randy Rhoads. Even Sabbath without Ozzy and Iommi with Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple. When I search you tube for new music to listen to, I always come back to the bands we grew up with that shaped Rock and Roll, Hard Rock, Metal and whatever you call some of the cool stuff Ozzy did.

My wife and I met him 4 times at shows. He was easy to understand. TV was contrived bullshit.

Agreed. I think if it wasnt for Sharon, he would have been dead or in jail years ago, the **** that woman put up with......
She made OZZY a star, and was paid handsomely for it. We met Sharon during the Sabbath "13" tour. She was pleasant with the fans, but everybody else was afraid of her.
Probably the most powerful woman, ever involved in rock.

Ah, found the concert I went to back in the day. Only about 1/2 sold out. Had nose bleed seats, but made our way down to center floor !!!

Were you at a Florida venue or the old Kiel venue in St. Louis? My buddy Mike Raymond was a bit older than me and took me and my girlfriend to see Zeppelin at the Kiel. This was even pre Karrin days Al!

Humble pie...there is a blast from the past. The Montrose "Live" band was just on the bill at The Arcada in St. Charles Illinois for August 15th but for some reason it was canceled. Ronnie Montrose and Ozzy are probably having tea and crumpets right now wherever they are. We were looking forward to the Montrose Live concert. There were 3 long time members and Jon Levin from Dokken to take over Ronnie's legendary riffs. It was canceled with no explanation.
