Roll bar with bench seat pics?

Anyone have an abody with a roll bar in it and running a factory bench seat? Any pics of how it was built? Custom bar or a pre built one? I want to put a roll bar in my '70 dart, but want to keep the factory bench. Thanks - Andy

have it all laid out, just need remove carpet and seat
to weld it together



got the main hoop bent today
It's still a little tall, better than being to short...
i'll trim 2" off it
start cutting/ notching the other bars tomorrow

Looks good. I'm planning on doing pro-street rear bars on mine to keep the rear seat, I imagine you are doing the same. What did you use to bend it?

I have a JD2 bender
You can see it in the first pic

I put a horizontal bar, just below the head rest to support the back of the front seat

Look at the 73 scamp pro street thread he put a 12 point cage in his with a front bench seat.

after fitting the upper bars
had some material left over,
so added a vertical and a Diagonal bar to the middle

Here's mine with a bench. It was fabbed up by a local shop. Removable swing outs and rear crossbar. I don't have many pictures of it completed.

Yes it does. I needed it removeable since I use the back seat still. I leave that open to interpretation HA!
