I am dealing with my 2nd bout of covid .. yea!

1st one was 10/25/20 .. it was rough for 5 days, then it lingered till 2/10/21

This one walked into, my life on vacation 400 miles from home Friday night last week about 10pm .

Talk about a bad situation, no meds , uncomfortable place ,etc .. we rode home Sunday and I have been in my bed since , I'm getting slowly better , time for another hot shower and a nother bowl of chicken noodle and some more popsicles

Why would you want to vacation in an uncomfortable place?

I hope you get well soon. My wife had the initial version of Omnicorn covid at Christmas last year. She said she's had colds that were worse and got over it in a few days. By the time she tested after being told she had been exposed, she already had the sniffles. It was too late for me to try and stay away from her in another room, and I never got it! Go figure. :realcrazy: Right now I have a sinus infection that is kicking my butt. I got a kit and tested, just to be sure and it was negative.

Hope You Feel Better Soon! I'm 7.5 weeks into Bronchitis after 4 or 5 days of the Ba5 variation. The Bronchitis is killing me. Lungs are swollen shut, I've lost a bunch of weight. I Cannot get professional Medical care for **** here. Only thing keeping me alive are Abuterol Rescue inhalers. Finally got ahold of some Amoxicillin. I hope they work, I Caint continue like this. Waking up choking and gasping for air. This sucks... get Well Y'all

Get well soon. I came down with it in June. Very mild. I had surgery (gallbladder) two days in and the surgery was more uncomfortable than Covid.

I THINK .. by morning I will feel well enough to give it a go for next couple days , we will see how I feel after morning shower , it might be right back to bed

Well, Take it easy, BUT Don't lay there and let that crap build up in Yer lungs. I'm active as crap, even working a few hours a day while I had the c19. Still, I got the funk outta it! Be careful, and suck down lots of juice, water, and vitamins C,D and Zinc! Get Well Man!

Hope you get well soon. I understand getting sick on vacation. I got sick with something in Pennsylvania about 6 years ago, and my wife had to drive almost all the way home. Prayers sent.

Not going in today, still have fever ..I'm still contagious , don't want to spread it around at work, feeling better but not great

I had it thanksgiving of 2020 and still unvaccinated but trying to use my head. I got it at our small church the first time. Last weekend all four of our churches got together for one big service, Baptisms, and a pig roast. I avoided it because of the size of it. Hearing a few rumors already so I hope they don’t have an outbreak. I haven’t even gone to Planet Fitness to work out yet. I hope all goes well with you.

Good to see you back. Just in time to days watch Tom Brady set a few more records!

I made it through 2 years without getting sick from covid. Then 2 months ago I caught it. It lasted a week with medium flu-like symptoms, but never fully recovered. Then 10 days ago I caught it again. Tested positive. 7 days later I tested negative. Still tired constantly, and muscles are weak. Just read an article about long term covid. It stated that 20% of covid patients end up with long term covid.

There was a recent study done in Israel that showed promising results in long term covid patients that got treatment in hyperbaric chambers. Now this is something our government should be working on instead of building another rocket to go to the moon [again].

I tried to race this weekend, still feel pretty rough .. managed a couple wins and went back home early to rest again
