Oh that is a '68-'69 Barracuda dash bezel (thumb wheel radio). See the emergency flasher switch in the upper corner of dash bezel toward driver's door? In '70 that switch was not there.
 
Guys - I bailed on the car when the guy wasn't coming forth with the VIN, told me he couldn't find the fendertag and he thru out the build sheet.
Plus he told me the grill was original for a '70! Today I see it on ebay - THE DAMN CAR WAS A '71 !! :angry6:

Question is, does that tag and buildsheet match the body stamping numbers.

I wonder if you were really talking to the original owner. Could have been talking to a middleman, then the car got sold from under him or to this dealer that has it now.

Surprised the dealer selling on Ebay doesn't mention the car being one owner. Usually they eat that stuff up.

I think this is a car someone should inspect in person. Especially with this odd situation 1967GTX440 went through with the car.
