was about 6 months ago when they broke into the 7's

now they are in the 6's lol

Why is it a sad day for Chevy? That is an all out race car that is fast. There are plenty of other brands that run as fast as that if not faster that are all out race cars.

Have you ever looked Rob's car over in person? It looks more like a street car than 90% of your weekend bracket stuff

need more fast mopar motors. Chevy is everywhere. Make a dent.

Looks like a sad day for anyone trying to beat this guys car lol!! I have personally watched that 69 Camaro street legal car run a faster time when I was at Maple Grove last year. He runs some 6 second times on this video.

WOW... Does not matter to me what brand it is... That is one nice fast STREET car. Just so it is clear I do not bracket race. I grudge race only now and not much of it any more.

Not a mopar hater just appreciate any true fast street cars, this guy pulls a trailer and travels thousands of miles and then races his car and turns mid 6 second et's that deserves respect from any gearhead!

I was against this car, didn't think it to be a real street car, mainly because it is fiberglass. Granted, it isn't a commuter car by any means, but while discussing this car with my Aussie friend, I realized it is a street car. It's legal, has registration (has a vin. number) is insured, and yes they drove it more then 1000 miles in stinking hot weather! So just because it' s Pro Mod (with a drink tray) in sheep's clothing, it truly is a street car to me, no matter how much I argue it with myself.
With that said, I only hope, that the drag week unlimited cars don't start looking like funny cars, which to me don't look like anything real.
It's one wicked 69 Camaro.

He also runs a Chevy powered MoPar. There's actually a few fellas here doing that. Considering the power there making vs. the cost of getting there engines, it was there no brainer idea to do what they did. Cheap LS power vs. rebuilding a Antique Engine with parts not up to par with what comes stock now.

Not really a fan of this but at the same time it is hard to argue. I just don't bash'em like they do.

LOL... And Mopar produce flamming pink cars and you are going to throw stones like that...:wack:

While true, I think only the ladies, gay men or guy looking to start fight purchased them.
Of course, color blindness MAY have contributed to a sale or two :violent1:

I am sure you meant when they were new cars, but I will tell you I am not gay, a lady, color blind, nor looking for a fight. But I will, say, you need to be confident in your masculinity to own a pink drag car ! LOL
Barbie our "Pink Panther" Duster draws a crowd wherever we race it, women go nuts over it, paint their finger nails to match, only 2 men didn't like the color till they saw it in person, now they love it.
Been on TV, asked to do Calendars, on and on. It is the most photographed car at our track, and there are some nice ones.
I bought the car because of the color (2 other people trying to buy it at the time), just plan tired of the same old thing. Been asked if I want to sell it, or let them know when I sell it.

Watch this video, after the camera's stopped rolling, the Weather guy went on and on about the car, as did the news lady. Notice who the girls are all standing next to.

Well Chris, I'm certainly glad you didn't get mad at me and my not so great jest about the color! I certainly should have put this, "confident in your masculinity" in there in the first place.
That is a very nice ride.

Dang that's a Sweet Duster,

Nothing wrong with Pink and Remember ya'all if not for the pink ain't none of us would be here anyway!
