Sad day when you cannot even give away mopar parts, off to the crap yard, 3 down and two more to go
I ran local ads for free Mopar parts for months. People just wanted to buy a part. Nobody wanted everything for free. I still will have a ton of parts but its time to enjoy my space. When someone ask for a part it does not take me a week dig it out.
Past five years I’ve been selling a lot of stuff to the core guys 4 speeds, automatics, steering boxes, power steering bumps, door hinges etc.I don't have a ton of parts but when i do i put them up for a month or 2.. i hate just trashing stuff that someone might need... this morning i trashed a 360 truck oil pan, power steering pump/brackets and exhaust manifolds.. not great parts but gone now...
I have had my PST 20:1 box up for sale for 4 months now... and... something else i can't even remember since it's been up soo long
Glad it's not just me. Gets frustrating lately I've just been stripping cars right into old derby cars and scrapping it all and not even bothering listing anything isn't worth the time anymore. Much less wasted time hauling it all in for scrap. A and c body parts all getting cleaned out lately from my shop and my dads shop where I store over flow.
I hate it to but I have spent so much of my life money space and room stripping cars for parts for my own cars and to sell to fund my hobbies that I just am out of patience playing phone tag and nothing sellingwhat i hate is that there is only soo much of this stuff left.. but can't hold onto it forever...

Yup I am doing the same thing but I am no longer giving it away…, scrap money is still money.

at least you tried! The older I get, the more I value my space over spare parts. It's hard to let things go though, even though I know I have too much clutter. Trying to sell things takes up so much time, which is also becoming more scarce and valuable.I ran local ads for free Mopar parts for months. People just wanted to buy a part. THere are more than a few people that make a "living" at pick a parts buying parts to sell off FeeBay. Most advertised there with silly prices. Somehow there will be people to pay such I guess.Well on the other side of the coin, people are selling (or trying to sell) things on **bay for a zillion dollars. The same 1972 hubcaps that I'm about to throw out because no one is buying them, people have listed for $100 on **bay... It just doesn't add up..
Half my project car is going in the dump this weekend because no one wants them. I hate to throw away parts that someone might want, but the wife (and especially the town code enforcement officer) doesn't like them laying around.
