Sandersons DD7's

Sweet, thanks! :hello1:

My car had P/S, but I removed it years ago. So technically I will still have the same coupler clearance issue as you since I am using the Flaming River shaft adapter. However, I have a manual steering, floor shift column that will be going in my car, which will push the coupler down by the gearbox.

..also get the fringe benefit of removing all the column shift linkage garbage when I install my Street Bandit. :supz:

The other "shorty" headers jerry6 used are the Hedman Tight Tubes. I installed a set of these on my 360 '70 Duster after I found out one of my manifolds was cracked. They fit fine but the issue was with the exhaust; the header outlets are straight down on the sides of the engine and routing down-pipes that fit well without hanging too low is a PITA. Mine are crushed pretty bad but then again the guy who made mine was just a regular exhaust guy, not much of a "custom performance" specialist or anything like that. If I can eventually sell these for a decent price I will probably just upgrade to Doug's, if not I will either have new proper down-pipes fab'd or get Doug's anyway and save these for an old Dodge pickup truck if I ever get one.

so how is the clearance around the oil filter?
any more pictures you wouldnt mind posting?
Ben

Those look like a very nice pair of block huggers, I wonder how the "NO GASKETS" works out?? those definatly are not long tube headers, but they might be fine for you.

It worked good for Chrysler. I don't know one single small block application that ever came from the factory with exhaust manifold gaskets.
