i'd pop that in and send it.

I need to change output bushing in my 93D250 727/Cummins. No shim above carrier bearing caused it.I change that bushing in car fairly often... Easy, if you have the tools...
And then leftover solvent can dilute oil causing problems. And those old converter flushers weren't all that good. Flushing with cold solvent only gets some of the junk out.
Mine are a different design but same idea...I need to change output bushing in my 93D250 727/Cummins. No shim above carrier bearing caused it.
What tools do you need for that job?
If Special Tools got any pics?

That’s great news. You’re literally living my transmission swap dream. But right now, my install feels like it’s a living nightmare - off to shop tomorrow to pick up, because on Friday I had a leak, took it in, thinking it was gasket and as shop had just fitted it, I was working with no time, and felt they were last on it and should bear the fix, they were happy to do so. Before I left to get there, I thought I’d check fluid level, stuck her in neutral and she started reversing, be it slowly. Once at the shop (I was home by this point) they pulled pan and lots of fibrous material was in it - will find out tomorrow what that looks like. Chance I might have to deem it too much to drive her there - I’ve no trailer. The mid term plan was the Tremec 5-speed, this was just the bandaid fix - hope it wasn’t too good to be true!!Bro what are the odds of this happening to two people with Darts that are going to Moparty.
3 weeks before today…lost third in my automatic… either torque coverter related or something else…. Wouldn’t shift in third at 3000.. which is my stall speed. Then when I tried to start it to align it to my lift…. Starter would jamb every time….
Lots of F bombs about this turd later…. And I have a full SST TKX installed. See you at Moparty! I’ll be the orange one with the little white knob sticking out of the floorboard and the automatic steering column because I’m out of time to mess with it. But I did take off the automatic shift lever. lol.
