This car has been sitting for 30 years due to marriage and kids. We bought it in 1977 for 1200.00 to replace our blue 70 duster that was totaled on graduation night by a friend. The kids are gone, still married and finally have some time and money to get it to where we want it. My husband owns a car repair shop and the mental discipline needed to work on other's cars while this one waits gives him a headache.8)

We are looking for a grille (not sharktooth) if you know of anyone who might have one.

We are very happy to be here. We have gotten so many ideas and support from this site already. Thanks to you all! Can't wait to post more progress.

So...we have a 69 383 magnum, bored 30 over with TRW 11.6 to 1 compression pistons Crane fireball cam fully balanced Holly throttle body injection MSD ignition, electric water pump, fully reconditioned heads, hooker headers, in front of a mopar 4 speed manual.
And then... pistons and cam have been sitting in a box in the back seat since we parked it in 1979.

We have built and installed new frame rails, and patched all the holes and welded in the trunk entensions. We have everything ready for a new floor pan. Dosent look like much yet but LOTS of work.

Encountered a big problem...

Try as we might these headers do not fit, not if you happen to need a steering column or your wheels to turn among other things. Plus the things came with actual holes in the welds that you could see daylight through.

How do you feel about these manifolds. Looking pretty good and the price is right.

Are you going to re brace the front fenders?

Should be pretty freakin fun when you get it on the road.
