Yep. It was a time when every car was completely recognizable from any angle and from just about any distance. I heard a helicopter reporter mention that looking down at Americas freeways today, the cars, all of them just resemble jelly beans. All the same shape, just different colors, and even the colors are far more subdued than they were back in the 50's.
