Nice Torker II bought new, was on my 360 for about 6k miles. I gasket matched the runners in about 2", also aluminum welded and epoxied the heat crossovers, this keeps the manifold nice and cool, the paper felpro gaskets eventually burn through! This would be good on a warm to hot 340/360 i ran 12.20's with it, also would be ideal on a mild stroker. comes with some new SS bolts, a new summit chrome T-stat housing w/gasket, and a pair of felpro intake gaskets. $150 OBO + shipping from Aurora IL, can be picked up also. Thanks Mike

Yes, I replaced it with a holley strip dominator, the strip dominator is a little stronger over 5,500rpm but this one is much better idle to 4,500, and slightly better 4,500 to 5,500. Shouldn't have gone with the SD.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy anything from EL5. Very detail oriented.........

Good luck with the sale

Thanks C !! I used this with a 4 hole 1/2" spacer and it fit under hood with a drop base air cleaner. Ran very strong. BTT

Hmmmm-I've pondered buying this for my brother for Christmas. He's readying a 060 over 340 KB flat tops, J heads, and a small Voodoo solid cam...wonder how well this would work for his app...

Cam size, compression, stall converter and gear ratio have a play in this.

This intake works best with a high stall and geared, light weight car ignoring some low end torque. A good intake for a good street strip effort. It can support 500 HP.

The seller has a very good rep and is a long time contributing member who has a very good deal here. Well priced, prep'd and ready to run and burn rubber. Any body building a street stripper and looking to save a Few bucks should look no further.

Thanks Rumble, Stang84 my demon weighted 3,460 with me in it, 4,400 stall, 3.91 gear, 520/540 244/252 @.050 solid, home ported J's, this intake is strong.. car 60' at 1.66! it is stronger in my combo to 5,500 than the fully ported Holley strip dominator (soon to be for sale) i have on it now, the SD is a little stronger 5,500 to my redline of 6,500.

Oh, I know...it would be on the cusp of usefulness. Car is a '72 Scamp...He's going to use the smallest Voodoo solid cam (264/272 tot..235/243 @ 050" can't recall the lift) Compression is ~9.6-9.8:1. Stall is 2500, gears, I think he's going to go with 3.73s.

I think he's going to roll with the RPM for right now though...

Hey Tx. IMO the RPM would be better for the engine at this point. You would need a little more engine, cam, stall and gear to make decent use for the TorkerII 340.
Add another 10*'s duration and 4.10's for a nice street stripper and this intake.
Works well on strokers.

Bump for a bad *** intake for a very fair price! Had one on my 67 Dart 340, 11:1, .508 hyd purple shaft and X heads. Only had 3.23's and a mild stall and a 650DP and it ripped! No lack of low end at all.

Someone's gonna get a nice buy!
