Finally some more progress. Everything got stripped wiped clean taped off and hit with epoxy primer. Now I can hopefully work on the final fitment for the donor piece and be done with this mess.

Well it has begun. Relatively happy with the fitment. Praying to the Mopar gods this goes smooth !

Burned the donor piece in today. I’m glad that’s over. All things considered I think it came out pretty well. I’m proud of myself for doing it by myself. Honestly it wasn’t something I thought I would have been able to handle.

Looks outstanding! No more rust in that area now. Well worth the effort.

I usually skin some fiber glass filler over my butt welds. Then spray 3M Cavity Wax on the back side of panel if I can't access the back side.

Thank you certainly appreciate the kind words. I’m pretty burnt out from this metalwork so the next hurdle will be bodywork. Never even heard of cavity wax I’ll have to look into it !
