I met Scott and Darrell years ago at the Mopar Nationals @ E-Town, when their shop was broken into and all the motors destroyed (1995, I think).
I was with my girlfriend (who's now my wife), I told Scott that she wasn't really into drag racing, he spent some time explaining why it's such a cool sport. She didn't buy it, of course. But I thought he was a very cool guy.

That really sucks. I met him once and he was real cool. Straight up fella that funny enuff, picked up the Northern accent. Since I must have sounded a bit like home to him being a New Jersy guy, the Island accent isn't to far off.
I helped him push his HEMI car around at a meet down south. He was real nice about the matter. "Sure, come on, I could use a hand."
Heck, I could have bumped a freight train off the track to puch the race HEMI car around that day.

Holy ****,I used to love watching him kick arse,It was when I was just starting to really get into chryslers & only made me want one more.
