Sealing a bad trim clip hole in the windshield channel

Changing a 67 dart's windshield seal and trim to the 68+ style. I drilled some of the hole for the trim clip screw in the wrong location. Now I need to seal them and re-drill.

Any idea's for the best type of sealant? Car is already painted so I can weld them up.

Did the same thing on our 67 cuda. This may help. I JB Welded a few holes.

If you can't weld them up, I'd be tempted to plug them up with some JB Weld.
 
Wow that was a great thread ...Wish I had see it earlier. I had the same problem with the clip sizes ended buying 4 sets of clips to get the right number of smaller clips. Not very cost effective but I couldn't find them any other way. Oh well they are in now just got to fix the holes.
