I qualified and carried 9MM in the miltary, proficient with 45....but within reach in my bedroom is a Remington 1100, with the short deer slug barrel....very effective. We had 2Boneheads try and come thru the front door several years between the Remington and 2 Dobies they decided they had the wrong house. In turns out they did have the wrong house, when the sheriffs came back to our house, they had caught them with a lot of pot. Turns out they were from out of state and got lost in suburbia, thought they were being ripped off on drug deal. County confiscated new GMC 4x4
