Sending unit question ?

I am going to 3/8" line from the tank forward,so I got a 3/8" sending unit.The sending unit I got has a extra smaller tube as you can see.I am sure it is either a vent or return line.I dont plan on doing a return line so my question.

What do I do with this line?
Can I just cap it off?

I plugged it with a vacume cap.

I second Adam's idea to cap it w/ a vacuum cap, but I'd also secure the cap w/ a tiny hose clamp ...

Thats an excellent idea!!..when i installed mine i use a small piece of hose and clamped it,but every now and then it tends to weep a little..

It is for a return line. I guess the 440 69 cuda used this unit. I capped mine to.

We did the same. No problems

To crush and fold it would be better than a vacuum cap. Those aren't ofcorrect material for fuel usage.
