Sending Unit

Can anyone tell me if I can take the gas gauge sending unit out of the gas tank without removing the tank from the car. The car in question is a 68 Dodge Dart. Thanks for any help. Gary

sure , the sender is located on the forward side of the tank. Differential can get in the way depending on how you go at it.
