Sewing Leather Seat

I have a big rip on my leather seat. What is the best way to sew it up without going to a shop?
 
That would require taking the seat apart. It would be nice though
 
Rip ? Cut ? Broken seam ? A pic would help.
 
I busted seam is easy to fix. Just did it on my jeep. Pull the seat out and take the cover off, resew and install.
 
I got the pictures yesterday and forgot to down load them. Here they are.

Yup the only way to fix that is to replace that panel or recover the whole seat. Nows the chance to have custom seat covers.

Nah I need to get better seats and I know where a set of Cherokee seats that I hope to modify to work. I just need a temp repair until I get them.
