That looks so bad ***. How and how much did you lower it? Obviously lowered the torsion bars and did you do a block in the back. I'm building my 65 vert in black because they look so mean black. Looks so much like a mini polara its not even funny. Nice ride man!

I agree..Very nice.
Did you use a brush finish on the bumper's or ?

Thanks for your comment. The pictures of the car were taken just after I sat her back down after fitting a front disc conversion so to be fair the TB's are not set up at this point, it's a little TOO low!!, the rear, I suspect sits low because the rear springs are a little tired, I plan to have these re profiled so the finished car will sit a little (not much higher).

Thanks again for your comment

Ah the bumpers! As re plating or shipping refurbed bumpers was not financially viable at the stage, after straightening and prepping, the bumpers were etch primed then simply rattle canned with wheel silver I got from a local discount store I used 2 cans at £3 each(=$5ea!!) followed by a clearcoat.

I like the finished effect, it matches the blasted centres of the TTO'S

Regards Rob

Specs on suspension and wheel/tire combo? Was on the fence of leaving my '64 post low or going gasser. Im definately leaning towards low now!
