Show Us Pictures of 2nd Generation Barracudas

-
I see you caught a pic of my 69 Cuda at the show wtfneon, here it was in front of the Hotel at the show. The guy behind the wheel was my buddy who had not sat behind the wheel of this car since 1978. Of course he had just take a little spin around town in it. WHOA !!!!

Awesome car! I loved the story you had on the core support. Its like a time capsule, and I love your attitude toward the purists.

It is a real A56 code 340 Cuda package, which makes it one of only 166 cars made with the 340 and auto in the fast back body. Original motor and tranny and mint build sheet are off to the side for the purist to be put back to original.

My buddy Marvin Cregger from South Carolina had built the car in in 1976. He bought an over the counter brand new 340 block and build the 340 with a Dyers prepped V-671 blower. He drove the car for a couple of years and parked it in 1978 and as we all know sometimes life gets in the way and there it sat until 2006 sitting in his garage. Some things had changed in his life at this time where he needed to move and the car had to be sold.

It was offered to me and was brought to Florida only to sit for another 5years until i had finished a couple of other projects i had going. I got going on freshing it back up to as built in 1976 and to keet it exactly as built. I knew he was coming to the show and never told him the cars was running. I parked it right out front of the hotel and when he showed up it was a great suprise to him to see it running again. I firgured the only right thing to do was throw him the keys and tell him to take it for a spin

The car is a Hoot to drive and trust me turns heads. The first day out a 2009 Daytona Charger in Sub Lime green challenged me, just like the old days.

Hey Blewbye,

Thanks for the interesting story about the car. Really nice what you did for the previous owner.

I thought your car looked familiar, but after 8 months of this thread, the fish are starting to run togeather.

You showed us your car back on page 1, post 23. Sorry I did no recognize it, not too many huffers in the group!

Love the look and sure I would love the ride!!!
