Hey Kingvern,
Awesome Dart! Can I ask what size wheel and backspacing are you running. I have a stock 1973 dart,

Denny , If I do 1 more car before I die, it will be a 70-72 Valiant 4 door.
Just look at how nice those photos look. Outstanding....

Here's my oldest son's 71 Valiant more-door that we are working on. We're putting new suspension on it, 1" torsion bars, SS leaf springs, front & rear sway bars, and manual K-H disc brakes. We are building a 91 360 roller cam engine. It is almost ready to paint. We plan to paint it today as we are finally going to get above 50°F!!! there is a picture where he stripped the paint off the oil pan and engine to get it ready for paint.

Next we will install the suspension, then the axle, then new wiring harness for the interior, install the engine.... then eventually a paint job... You know...

Here's some pictures:

Back in the 90's I think Hot Rod magazine did an article on cars you normally wouldn't think to hot rod. They had an artist do some renderings and list the mods they would perform. One of the cars was a four door M-body.(Diplomat/Fifth Ave/New Yorker) They lowered it, shortened up the bumpers and moved them in, gave it a two tone paint treatment. I've wanted to build one ever since.

1974 4 Door Valiant wearing all its original sheet metal and paint. Only has a little bit of surface rust on the 1/4s. We bought it as a stripped shell and put it back together will all parts we had layin around. Wheels are from my 74 Swinger as it is getting different wheel and tire combo.
Air shocks should be here wednesday

It is nice to see that i'm not the only one that think these cars are worth restoring/hotrodding. the more i see the more i like. I just hope it doesn't catch on or i won't be able to afford these either.

My sons 73 Dart. 92,000 miles 318 with 273 AFB, intake and air cleaner, 73 340 exhaust manifolds, custom duals, SS rear springs, 727, Snowflake 15 x 6.5 wheels

You didn't specify that they had to be mopars.

Here is a gem of a track car I picked up for 2 grand last week. It's a flipper.
Needs some interior work but other than that its a rocket and handles like a go cart. I am starting to fall in love so I gotta sell it quick. 97 BMW M3

I will have to get some more photo's off of my other computer. It is a 65 Valiant 4 door, 200 with a 273 2bbl, all original with dealer add on a/c. Been gathering parts for the last year and will be starting on it in a few weeks. I hope to have it get it painted and driving this summer.
