I used to compete in True Street. Similar concept, but only involved a 50 mile cruise, then three back to back passes with only tire changes allowed. Could not open hood. Sick week takes this to a whole 'nuther level. Thanks for posting the pics.

Man, I am green with envy that you got to go to Kevin Smith's shop. I've heard he's a super nice guy. And a helluva driver.

our class got to run first today. on our way back to Orlando already. first three days we ran last. didn't get out of the tracks till 2pm or later. 271 mile drive but we should be able to take our time and still get in early.

Thanks for posting, I'd love to do something like this one day.

its a cool experience. we are in "D" class which is slower cars. we have run last every day up today. lots of standing around waiting for our class to be called. watched some of the other classes but man its a long *** day for one maybe two runs.

you can do what they call sick ward. you don't race but do follow the same routes and can come and go from the tracks as you wish. hell yesterday sick ward even got their own food trucks that only they could order from. racers had to eat crappy track food unless ya brought your own stuff. its a good option to see what its all about and see if you like it.
