Well the Signet's been the same for a few years now so I deceided a few months back about a "small over-haul"! Nothing like a total rebuild or new paint job although I will re-paint the engine compartment (same colour) as the car with a little extra touch-ups. I will be removing the orginal 273, 904 and bagging them up. The Signet will be receiving my Son's 318 and 727. The 318 has the following:
Rebuilt 30 over;
318 HP heads in 360 cast (1.88/1.60);
340 cam, Edelbrock Performer Intake;
Holley 600 CFM;
MSD 6AL; and
K&N Filters.
The 727 was rebuilt a few years ago and has the following:
2500 Stall; and
Transgo TF-2 shift kit.
I will be staying with the same rearend and gears:
8.75 / 3:91
Additional work to Install:
Floorshift column;
TTI's (polished ceramic); and
All around new brakes.
Extras:
MP Valve Covers; and
Fuel pressure guage;
As soon as my TTI's get delivered next week I will pull the motor and start the fun "stuff". Lately, I have been getting the motor/trans ready to go and cleaning bolt-ons etc. Here's a few Pics.
