It's ok, but I've found you get much more useful info from going to a Slant Six specific forum and asking questions specific to the type of build you want to do. There's a lot of experienced people on them that have learned tips and tricks you won't get from any Chrysler approved manual.

It depends on the price. It is outdated, and contains quite a few errors, but it is a good read. Just remember, it is not the "bible". Read it, ask questions, and use common sense.

That book was full of errors years ago when it was written. Now it's full of errors and obsolete information. If you need a doorstop, it's OK but expensive for that purpose.
I agree, slantsix forum is a better place. The book is still a great read for at least ideas and direction pointing.
