I have a 440 six pack setup that may someday end up in a 440 valiant.

This six pack is all original, with cast iron manifold.

I want to run an aluminum manifold. Would it be "better" to build a six pack from parts and sell this to a resto guy, or buy the intake I want and break up this vintage oem assembly?

The end goal for the valiant is a factory appearing 440-6 four door.

Also any advice on column shift with decent big block manifolds is appreciated.

Thank you!

Well, a resto guy, ACTUALLY doing a resto that needs THAT set up will love you!
Save a good few pounds with an aluminum unit for sure!

Mine is a small block. But I would say keep yours original. Just my 2 cents.
