Slant 6 well type choke gasket???

I have a pretty good exhaust leak coming from my well type choke on the 71 swinger/ 198 engine.

It's coming from the choke gasket and sputting pretty loudly now.

I can't locate one in the parts sources I've tried, and was wondering where to find one???

A piece broke off, and it looks to be a checkered outer foil type gasket with a graphite center.

If anyone knows of a (proven) high temp sealer that would work, I'd be willing to try that too I guess.

well i think this is kinda odd as i have had to run slants without one while i tracked another down...

so my point is that i dont think there should be a hole...

the gasket is to keep things out...

Just get a Felpro exhaust manifold gasket set. They come with one.

I just made one out of some composite gasket material. Has worked going on 4 years now.
