I have a complete 1986 225 Slant 6 I might rebuild for my 1973 Duster. I had it posted for sale but no one wanted it. It came out of a truck and it is a later style cast crank hydraulic lifter motor, so I have to change a few parts.

I need a passenger car oil pan to fit a '73 Duster, I've read that the 087 pan is best for my needs. This engine has the truck oil pan.

And I need a set of solid lifter pushrods and the whole rocker arm assembly with all the bolts and spacers and rocker arms and things. I have an Oregon 2106 cam and lifter and spring set to put in, but they are for a solid lifter engine.

And if anyone has an OEM or aftermarket aluminum 2 bbl /6 intake manifold, I might get that also. I have an adapter plate on my OEM iron 2 bbl intake for the Holley 350, would like to eliminate the adapter if possible.

What about the correct oil pickup for the passenger car 087 pan? Get a new one at rock auto or somewhere else and it'll be fine, or clean up an OEM one?

You will also need the oil pump pickup, dipstick and tube for a car oil pan to go with that setup. When changing from hydro to solid lifters you should also use a solid cam. They differ in that oiling isn't the same - the hydro cam has a groove on the rear journal, a solid cam does not. I have this setup in my 82 D150, it works very well.
