I'm looking for the linkage (progressive) from the carb to the bell crank. The rest of the kick down assembly is installed.

Thanks in advance.

Allan

That looks like a 2BBL throttle cable bracket are you sure you will have WOT with that?

NO clue? Still learning. lol

Do I need to swap everything over from a 4 barrel small block car?

Thanks,

Allan

I used my 2bbl kickdown linkage assembly and bought the Edelbrock part
Automatic Trans. Rod Extension Kit - for 1/4" Rod for Chrysler 8003. I set up the kickdown per the 1968 plymouth service manual, and it has been working great for 3 months now.

If you have a 904 trans you may be able to use what you have for the kickdown but if you have a 727 trans and are using 904 2bbl linkage you are going to more than likely have adjustment problems with-out doing modifications. A carb rod extender would possible work but at this point you don't even have the rod, correct? Then the cable for the 2bbl may still not have WOT.

OK, probably should have mentioned this. In all the years I've played with old cars, this is the second Mopar I've owned. The first was a '70 Plum Crazy Challenger big block convertible I drove as my first car when I turned 16 in high school. I paid a whopping $1250 for it. Yes, I should have kept it.
Back to the current subject, how do I tell the difference between a 727 and a 904.............. and WTH is WOT?

OK. I have a 727.

...... and yes the linkage is MIA. So I need to replace the entire kick-down assembly with a 340 set-up including the throttle assembly?

WOT is wide open throttle

Yes you do have a 727 and the kickdown must be installed or you will damage the transmission in short order. If you can't find stock linkage for sale here for your combination, check out Lokar. They make cable systems that work well.

OK...first think you need is the 4bbl throttle cable bracket...moves the cable out and forward...

next you need the Edelbrock throttle linkage adapter....

...then you need the 4bbl kickdown rod extension....or make your own....

This is what it should look like when you're done....

This is the proper way to do it!
