hey i have a 1972 plymouth duster 318 2bbl holly. i rebulit the carb and now it bogs when i set on the gas then it goes like a bat out of hell what could my problem be please help

check that the accelator pump squirts gas as soon as you move the throttle..

you could have the linkage to the pump hook up incorrect..

That could be part of it but not likely all of it!

Is the float bowl set properly? if its to low it could affect the start of the squinter as well as idle to booster transitions.

The air sucking threw the throttle shaft will cause inconsistent idle.....maybe even a rough idle, but not much else.

I have had the same problem in the past. I would say that the fuel level is too low in the float bowl. Adjust the float up a little and drive it.
