Small block. Looks like an AL version of the 65 4bbl but with more pronounced runners. Very low rise. I can supply a pic if he doesn't have one

The DB4 intake that you need for your early 273 was made by Edelbrock.
I had one listed a couple months ago and just sold it recently,unfortunately.
