Small block mechnical rockers adjustment

Going to install mechanicall rockers on my 340 in a few days. Can someone please tell me the proper procedure for adjusting them? I have a few mopar manuals, but the don't go back that far. I just have 68 -70 service manuals and every small block has the regular stamped steel rockers on it. Thaks for any info.
