Small block rocker shaft oil hole alignment ?'s

If you have roller shaft rockers , should the oil holes be positioned the same as stock , and is that down and toward the outside of the engine, if you go by the notches on the end of the shafts mine are in wrong

You need to index according to that notch. That's how the oil gets into the shaft.

Driver side, notch forward and down.
Passenger side notch rearward and down.

Let's be absolutely clear, here. We cannot see what you see. If you have the holes pointed "out" toward the valves and down, where are the notches?

These notches appear to be ground in the wrong place If I go with the notches the oil holes willBe pointing up on the shafts which is wrong!! Looking at the from the front where should the oil home be pointing on the shafts ?? Should they be pointing towards intake or exhaust ??
