Smoke from breather cap

Hey guys, I just got my new 360 in my duster a couple months ago. It’s a brand new short block and heads. It was running perfectly for the first two months with no issues then over the past couple weeks there’s been a lot of oil smoke coming from the breather cap on the drivers side. It still runs normal and has normal oil pressure. I have my pcv hooked up on the passenger side valve cover to the port on the bottom of the air cleaner. I’m thinking maybe I should have it hooked up to the back of the carb instead? Any info would help.

PCV needs to go to manifold vacuum, it will draw in at idle and high vacuum like coasting.

Is it actual smoke? Or is it vapor? How does the oil look? How many miles on it now? How many times have you changed the oil on this new engine?

My PCV goes to the base of the carb and the port on the air cleaner goes to the breather that is in the valve cover.

Post pictures of the carb and intake, the port on the air breather should probably go to the driver side vent cap

That's messed up.
There is not enough vacuum in the aircleaner, to draw vapors so the drivers side has to vent it.
The PCV MUST be delivered to the UNDERSIDE of the Primaries. That Driverside breather could be hooked to the port on the underside of the air cleaner
At WOT, the PCV system often gets overwhelmed and excess vapors will pour out that drivers side, you cannot stop it. By hooking it to the air-cleaner, those excess vapors will get sucked back into the engine and burned up, eliminating most of the mess.
