On a salestrip today close to Norway we stopped and checked out a nice snow mobile museum. One strange thing - they didn't have Polaris!! Enjoy the pictures.

I like the Yahama in the 7th picture with rear view mirror and fender mounted turn signals.

Thanks for sharing.

wow, I actually owned a few of those sleds.....mostly the ski-doos, and the john deere

Thanks for sharing. Having been born and raised, and lived all my life in SoCal I haven't had much exposure to snowmobiles. Definitely interesting to see the evolution.

Cool! I used to own a few of those kind too. I raced a SR433c just like the first photo. Also raced some Skiroules but I don't see a photo of one of those.....

Thanks for sharing.

Very cool! I used to work on snowmobiles in the winter and motorcycles in the summer. I remember the Arctic Cat with the Cheetah seat trim, they were very popular with the ladies up in Wisconsin and I think the blue one is a Kawasaki 440.

I didn't see an early 90's Skidoo Indy triple. They were one of the first sleds to top 100 mph from the factory IIRC. We also had an old Skorpion one lunger that was a beast to start, lol.

Thanks for the pics and the memories.
