How did the white one do ? for a race car white is the way for me to go.

Nice!!! Those Red ones particularly stand out, they just look great. We ran Division 7 at Firebird over the weekend, tons of A bodies

To be honest I don't know how he did, I was kind of busy all weekend.

The red Duster is a real 72 340 car and still a 340 as claimed by the owner. Fast car too it was dialed in the 5.40's all weekend. I have some more pics but I'm out of space on my picture trail account so I need to do some maintenance.
 
Welcome back Guitar, Sorry to here you lost in 1st round. IT'S TIME FOR THE SCAMP! I haven't raced all summer it's been to hot and rains every week end. I'm going to tri for a week from Sat. I'll keep in touch, Gary
 
I don't think I got a pic of your car MJ. I only got a few that I know of. Sorry about your luck too, but that's the way it goes, half the racers go home after round one. I've driven a long way and spent a lot of money just to go out in the first round before, I'm sure it will happen again. lol

Yes sir...That is just a part of racing. My weekend started bad on thursday and the red light was just the way to top it off. On thursday, I broke the distributer shaft, could not find a new one anywhere. So when I went to close the hood, the spring bound up on me, and ripped the bolts out of the hood...Time for a new hood. So I just raced the truck and like I said before, the red light got me 1st round. Next year WILL be better. :-D:-D Hope to catch up with ya next year, bud
 
Yeah, I'll be back next year MJ, hopefully in my A body instead of that brand X powered altered I've been driving. lol

TMP67, that's one good looking early A, gotta love that!

This would be Mr. Lavern's car out of Mobile, AL. Not even going to try to spell his last name for you :-D. This is one of the cleanest cars you will ever find at a race track. SUPER nice guy to talk with as well
 
I wanted to go there bad,,but,, I had relatives coming into town. I havent seen em in about a yr,and the wife would have put me in the doghouse :angry7:.
Thats a super nice track,it's about an hr or so from where I live. I stay so @#@@#@ busy the last time I was at that track was for the 08 Mopar show
