spark plugs(5,7) and exh. manifold situation

340 in my 67 Barracuda. Hello, is there any easier way to swap plugs 5 and 7 without taking off the drivers side exh. manifold?
 
No idea, "photos?"

I've never seen anything Mopar you had to remove the manifolds

Maybe you have an inferior quality socket, and it's a bit thick walled?

Do you have what is meant for a plug socket? These are not an ordinary 13/16 socket.
 
Get a plug socket with an external hex on the end for putting a wrench on. Just use it to crack it loose, then you can put an old plug boot on and back them out by hand.

Also, "used to be" Champion, and other brand name tool co's like SK, etc, had a "spark plug kit"

Generally, this had a

5/8 plug socket

13/16 plug socket, both with a hex

A 1" long extension

A 3" long extension

And a 3/8 drive, "flex head" ratchet
